We have expanded Whitefriars School in our landmark new building so that we can offer a new nursery, more primary places, specialist subject teaching to primary pupils from both our schools and an outstanding secondary education for 11 to 19 year old students!
In May 2018 OFSTED graded our school as outstanding. Our school is a strong family where expectations are high, values are positive, forgiveness is abundant and children are treasured. We believe that anyone can learn anything and the growth mindset underpins everything we do.
We are in a federation with Heathland School which was judged to be outstanding by OFSTED in 2010 and again in 2014. Our staff team continuously strives to find engaging and innovative ways to help our children learn and develop as individuals. We build close partnerships with families and celebrate success together.
We are currently working to make sure we can keep our pupils, staff and families safe when they return to school. Have a look at our video to see some of the measures we will have in place to help everyone stay safe.
Please take time to read through the parent guidance for our phased re-opening and also make a note of the drop off & pick up timetable if you are planning on sending your Nursery, Reception, Year 1 or Year 6 pupil back to school when we re-open.
If you have a child in one of the returning year groups and have not yet made arrangements for them to return to school, please contact us via email: email@example.com or telephone between 8.15 am and 3.30 pm to arrange. We do require one week’s notice to make arrangements for their return. The school office is currently closed to visitors so please only contact the school via the above methods.
Following government guidelines Whitefriars School is currently closed but we have many useful links to enable parents and carers to keep in touch and get help where needed.
