It is the last week of term before all our pupils and staff can enjoy a very well-earned rest.
At the end of the Christmas holidays the news widely reported how difficult a term this could be for schools. The impact of Covid on daily staffing levels was predicted to create real challenges and it definitely did that.
In this context and despite these challenges I am really proud of how the staff have pulled together to keep weaving the Whitefriars magic. The upcoming bumper March newsletter is a real snapshot of all the opportunities we provided this half term. Thank you to all my staff.
Thank you also to all our families and the community for all your support this term. We really could not do it without you. We have an unwavering belief in the great potential of all pupils and you continually help us demonstrate this.
The end of term is a chance to celebrate what has been achieved and look forward to what is to come. Good luck to Year 12 are completing their mock examinations this week and well done to Year 6 pupils attending our SATs revision classes during the Easter holidays. Year 11 will be revising hard over the break, keep going and your extended holiday will come.
Have a lovely last week of term.
