It is nearly the end of another hugely successful half term.
We met our new families at the nursery consultation meetings. Year 6 completed their SATS and Year 11 started their GCSEs.
There have been fabulous trips. Year 1 went to Chalfont St Giles. Years 7 and 8 went to Legoland to learn about robots. Year 12 went to Monkey World to learn about animal psychology.
The process for Sixth Form university applications has started and Year 12 undertook personal statement training. Year 9 pupils have been raising money for charity by taking part in a digital break. They describe it as transformational.
There have been amazing clubs ranging from Construction to Morris Dancing to Cricket. Entries are being planned for the Harrow Film Festival. Year 1 learnt all about teeth cleaning from the NHS.
Secondary section House competitions have been very engaging and pupils have enjoyed drama, rounders and table tennis.
This Thursday we are celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. Primary section pupils will be dressing up in red, white and blue (or the monarchy) and taking part in special picnics.
There is lots to look forward to next half term. Highlights include the Year 6 production, Sports Days, Year 6 Activities Week, new Year 7 Transition day and our fabulous Trophy Assemblies.
Have a lovey half term break.
