Safeguarding

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and we expect all staff (including supply staff), volunteers and visitors to share this commitment.

Our Designated Safeguarding Lead is Ms Lawes. Our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads are Ms Payne (SENCO) and Mr Watson (Headteacher).

You can contact Ms Lawes by calling the school (020 8427 2080) or emailing the school (office@whitefriars.harrow.sch.uk).

Should you have an emergency, you can contact Children’s Services direct on 020 8901 2690 to talk with a social worker.

We also have a Safer School’s Police Officer allocated to Whitefriars School. Mr Brighton regularly visits the school and provides educational information for the pupils alongside supporting any requests or referrals.
